🧺 How Do Our Washing Machines Work?

Welcome to Le Lavoir de la Passerelle, your new clean and convenient space in the heart of Saint-Joseph!
Here’s a quick guide to help you use our washing machines — it’s simple, fast, and accessible to everyone!

🌀 Steps to Follow

1. Choose a machine that fits your load size:

• 8 kg: small loads (sheets, everyday clothes)
• 14 kg: medium loads for families
• 20 kg: large items (comforters, blankets, bulky fabrics)

2. Add your detergent:

• You can use your own, or buy detergent directly from our vending machines (starting at €0.70 per dose). We also offer complete packs for an efficient, high-quality wash.
• Open the detergent drawer and pour the right amount into the correct compartment.
• For 14kg and 20kg machines, we recommend using 2 doses of detergent.

3. Load your laundry:

• Do not overload the drum.
• Close the door securely.

4. Select your wash program:

• 40º — Classic Wash: for most everyday clothes
• 60º — Hot Wash: for deep cleaning (household linen, towels, sheets)
• 90º — Very Hot Wash: for sturdy whites and cotton fabrics
• 40º — Delicate: for curtains and fragile fabrics
• 30º — Delicate without spin: for ultra-delicate items or fine curtains

5. Go to the payment terminal:

• Press the number of the machine you’ve chosen.
• Pay by cash or credit card.
• If the machine is locked, it will start automatically! If not, simply press the “Start” button directly on the machine.

You can relax, run errands, or take a walk while your laundry is washing.

⚠️ Reminder:
Please set an alarm to collect your laundry on time.
If a cycle has finished and the laundry is still inside, another customer may remove it carefully and place it on the folding table provided.
